A Clay workflow that takes every Albacross website visitor, enriches the domain, scores ICP fit, and instantly sends a clean Slack alert so your team never misses high-intent traffic again.
Read moreWatch video on youtubeWhenever someone visits your website, Albacross identifies the visitor’s domain (e.g., paytm.com, amazon.com) and sends that information into Clay through a webhook.
Clay creates a new row for every incoming visitor event.
The workflow stores two main pieces of data from the webhook:
- Country of the visitor
- Domain of the company they appear to be from
These serve as the starting point for all enrichment.
Clay automatically attempts to look up the company behind the domain.
If successful, it fills in:
- Company Name
- Logo
- Description
- Industry
- Employee Count
- Headquarters location
- LinkedIn URL
At this point, the workflow knows who the visitor is at a company level.
If enrichment fails, the workflow marks the visitor as unknown or low-quality traffic.
The workflow queries the visitor’s domain to retrieve:
- Web technologies
- Frameworks
- Analytics tools
- Plugins
- APIs used on the company’s website
This provides deeper context for outbound or sales intelligence.
A custom formula evaluates the size of the company and classifies it into a tier.
Your logic is:
- Tier 1 → Enterprise (Employee Count > 200)
- Tier 2 → Mid-market (Employee Count > 50)
- Tier 3 → SMB (Everything else)
This creates an instant qualification layer for your team.
Once the row is fully enriched, Clay automatically formats and sends a Slack message including:
- Visitor Company Name
- Domain
- Industry
- Employee Count
- ICP Tier
- Tech Stack summary
- Country of visitor
If the company is not recognized, Clay still sends a lightweight Slack alert indicating an unknown visitor.
